Project Hope is grateful to the many supporters that made this dream a reality. Thank you especially to the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation (MHIC) for providing New Markets Tax Credit financing to make this possible. Read more about this relationship in MHIC's Newsletter.
The Community Building earned Silver Status for showing Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design by the US Green Building Council in September 2007. It is the first certified "green" building in Roxbury. Read more about the Silver Status. Project Hope also received an additional green award in April 2008 from Mayor Thomas M. Menino for being a bike friendly business. Read more about the Bike Friendly Award.
The new building gives Project Hope an increased
presence in the Dorchester and Roxbury neighborhoods and
brings under one roof all of our education, workforce
development and housing resources.
Our expanded programming improves our
ability to partner with more low-income families.
