NOW SPEAK! with Project Hope at the Museum of Fine Arts
Amalia Pica’s performance sculpture Now Speak!, on view in the exhibition “Political Intent,” invites us to use our voices to activate art, create social space, and reinterpret history over time. Join Project Hope’s Ambassadors from the Speakers Bureau for their delivery of a historical speech, followed by stories of speakers’ rise out of poverty toward personal empowerment. The free 30-minute program offers local perspectives to homelessness in Boston and paths toward recovery. This event is part of a year-long partnership between the MFA and Project Hope.
The program will take place on the following dates at 6:30pm and 7:15pm in the Henry and Lois Foster Gallery at the MFA. Admission to the museum is free on Wednesdays after 4pm.
